ABOUT SYDNEY SPENCE

I’m Sydney Spence, a Native Texan who’s been figuring out the digital world while never letting go of the creative side of things. I’ve been building, testing, and reinventing long before “online presence” became a buzzword everyone throws around now.

I got my start back when the internet was still finding itself, helping build Yahoo Yellow Pages when directories were just becoming a thing. I pursued a degree in Marketing (with a minor in Journalism) and from there, I moved into writing and editing with Demand Studios while also getting my real estate license and working in property management and rentals, because I’ve always been the type to have a plan… and a backup plan.

When writing didn’t take off right away (because it rarely does), I pivoted. I used my real estate experience to start writing for agents all over the world, over 3,000 pieces later, that turned into something real. That same mindset carried into everything else I’ve done, event planning, marketing campaigns, and eventually building iHutto, where I get to promote and support small businesses, run the iHutto Directory, and publish Hutto Magazine. The audience grew with it, 17K followers and consistently strong reach every month, because people actually want content that’s useful and real.

Over time, I’ve written more than 30,000 pages of no-fluff resources for small business owners and young adults, breaking down real-life skills into something people can actually use without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve also published 500+ books on Amazon, from journals (where I taught myself design along the way) to children’s books, cookbooks, and guides like Learn AEO.

At the end of the day, I’m a builder. I like creating things that actually help people, ideas, platforms, resources, whatever it takes. I’m always learning, always trying new things, and always looking for ways to make things simpler for the people coming behind me.

And now with AI everywhere, things are changing fast. It’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind or not sure where you fit anymore. But here’s the truth, there’s still a huge need for real people, real creativity, and real strategy. I’m here to help people figure out how to use AI the right way … without losing the human side that actually makes things work.
